Lyrics

Look at you, shining like the sun Alexandra That Prada bag you got Alexandra You my love tonight You my love tonight Alexandra You my love tonight

Look at you shooting with your gun Alexandra That funny smile you got (you got) Alexandra (yea) You my love tonight You my love tonight (tonight, tonight) Alexandra You my love tonight

Double Yea, double the Henny (double, double) 'Cause I miss Jenny Oh, I miss Jenny I'm counting 24 Every day we paid I had to celebrate Into your love game Into some elevation You still owe me some favors I mean, salam alaikum Is that enough for later? If you want more We do it at the store I'm on my pedestal Pedestal

Look at you, shining like the sun Alexandra That Prada bag you got Alexandra You my love tonight You my love tonight Alexandra You my love tonight

Triple the Henny 'Cause I miss Jenny I miss Jenny I'm counting 24 Every day we paid I had to celebrate Into your love game Into your love game Into your love game Into your love game

Behind the song

A Prada bag catches the eye, and Alexandra shines like the sun. Her name keeps coming back, wrapped in a promise of love that lasts for tonight. There is a funny smile, too, but the picture is not all sweetness: a gun appears beside the glow. Those details leave something unsettled beneath the affection. Alexandra is close enough to be called love, yet the repeated name feels like a question that never quite gets answered.

Then the Henny doubles, and later triples, because Jenny is still missed. That other name changes the feeling of the whole song. Getting paid and having a reason to celebrate sit beside an absence that the celebration cannot quite cover. Love becomes a game, favors are still owed, and the talk of being on a pedestal adds a little pride to the mix. Alexandra’s name returns again and again, but Jenny’s absence stays tucked inside the night. What sounds like a simple promise of love carries more than one attachment, and nothing fully settles.
