Lyrics

Sun is rising on the west coast, I'm ready I see the signs, I am destined to Push the worry aside when I turn on the radio They're saying the sky is looking clear and blue

I feel like a star I feel like a star I feel like a star I feel like a star

Gold sunglasses on the top of my head Custom designer blazer made of real shark leather Vintage pants it's like I'm rocking the dead Classic shoes I'm feeling like Liam Gallagher

I feel like a star I feel like a star I feel like a star I feel like a star

Driving the coast, I only see green lights The only thing red is the tip of my cigarette All of the hotties watching me speed by

I feel like a star I feel like a star

Behind the song

The sun is rising on the west coast, and the radio says the sky is clear and blue. Worry gets pushed aside before it can spoil the morning. Star ★, from Stuck In LA, takes that small moment of relief and turns it into a feeling big enough to fill the road ahead. The signs seem to point toward something good, and being ready for it is almost the same as knowing it will happen.

Gold sunglasses rest on top of a head, a shark leather blazer makes a bold statement, and vintage pants and classic shoes finish the look. Every detail adds to the sense that this could be the day everything falls into place. Along the coast, the lights are all green. The only red is the tip of a cigarette, a small glow against all that easy movement. There are eyes watching as the car speeds past, but no explanation is needed. The repeated feeling of being a star holds it all together, somewhere between a wish and a certainty.
