Lyrics

My eyes are wide open

I dare you Say it to my face

Who are you? Feeling it out of place

Mysterious You're so mysterious Who are you? I think we have a case

My missile would go through you every day My bullets would go through your bulletproof I picture my world with your pretty face My world with your pretty face

Don’t worry When juice Runs out

I got you Forever For life

Who are you? I think we have a case

My missile would go through you every day My bullets would go through your bulletproof I picture my world with your pretty face My world with your pretty face

Behind the song

Eyes stay wide open while a challenge hangs in the air: say it face to face. There is a pretty face close enough to picture a whole world around, but something about it still feels out of place. Don’t Worry…Who Are You? keeps returning to a question that never gets an answer. The mystery is not far away or hidden in the dark. It sits right beside the promise of being together, leaving doubt where there might have been trust.

The song’s sharpest images are missiles and bullets that can get through even a bulletproof shield. They sit beside a much softer thought: a world made brighter by someone’s face. Then comes the promise of support when the juice runs out, not just for a moment, but for life. That promise sounds certain, yet the question comes back again. There is closeness here, and a wish for something lasting, but knowing someone and wanting them are not quite the same thing.
